Congratulations to all of you for your hard work.  We are very proud of you!

We are Energy Stars!

13 of our WJUSD schools, and the district office, have just been awarded the ENERGY STAR!  That means that, as far as energy goes, these buildings perform in the top 25% of all schools nationwide!  Plaques were awarded to site Principals during the regular Board meeting on December 9, 2010 with coverage provided by KCRA-3.  Their story can be seen here  (link to external website used with permission from KCRA-3).  It's nice to get some outside recognition for our efforts.  Woodland Adult Education's rating is included with Douglass Middle School, so that is why we were also honored.  Please see the press release here  for more information.  Keep up the great work!

It was great meeting you at the Yolo County Fair
