This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and professional skills necessary to become a proficient California Notary and prepare for the State's examination.

Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center

Woodland Adult Education is able to offer accessible and secure certification testing.

The system enables candidates to register and schedule their tests online or through a Pearson VUE call center.

2016 Spring Schedule

 The 2016 Spring Schedule is here  Registration begins February 16th.

English as a Second Language is offered day and evening at four different levels.

High School Diploma and GED / HiSET classes are open day and evening.

Come to orientation and work on achieving your goals.  You can do it!

Woodland Adult Education provides educational opportunities for adults who have not completed their high school education or who want classes in the following programs:
 
  • High School Diploma for adults
  • GED® and HiSET® Preparation
  • Adult Basic Education (ABE)/Skills Review
  • English as a Second Language - ESL
  • Parent Education
  • Personal Enrichment classes
 
Woodland Adult Education is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). All teachers in classes supported by state apportionment have a valid California Teaching Credential. Personal enrichment classes are supported solely by the fee charged to students and do not require a credentialed teacher.
 
Placement Process
 
Any person 18 years of age or older may enroll in adult classes. Classes are open to anyone without regard to race, color, gender, religion, ancestry, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, physical handicap, political affiliation or belief. Persons under the age of 18 may be eligible in certain circumstances; permission to enroll may be obtained following an interview with the Principal. All High School Diploma, GED®, HiSET®, and Skills Review students must attend High School Orientation and meet with an advisor before starting class.
 
Registration is open and classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis. For information and details about the schedule of classes call (530) 662-0798.

Regional Consortia Funding

Woodland Adult Education is part of the North Central Adult Education Consortium.  The Adult Education Block Grant provides funding through this consortium for programs and services at Woodland Adult Education.  For further details go to
